Bummer

Never leave your valuables in plain sight, I left my iPod in my car last night and so my car was broken into. I have insurance but that doesn't make it easier. The sheriff came out an took a report, no finger printing, just that it was probably a local, these smash and grabs are picking up out here. The officer mentioned that the preferred method of entry is to smash the glass with  spark plug. Sure enough pieces of the plug were on the ground, he said the glass of the plug minimizes the noise made when breaking the glass.

As terrible as this is, and sad that it's starting to get worse out here in the country, the whole situation was made better by my insurance company, GIECO. The representative on the phone was courteous and went above and beyond, she was professional and pleasant. I told her I did not think my deductible would make it worth while filing a claim but she noticed I had a auto repair option on my policy that would cover me. She then explain that I had a choice of repair location or one of theirs. She offered to and even called the repair shop confirmed they had the part and made an appointment for me today!

We all like to complain about terrible service, but wow what a difference good service makes.

While we are talking about good service, Gary has been a trooper the last weekend, after I bought the wrong color tiles and had already started to lay them down, I decided that it would stick out, so we bought the right color and started all over again. Wow this is looking great now. We have a roof!!!!
