After a long hiatus

It's time to start work on the deck. Gary threahtened to trow my scrap sheet rock so I had to finnish what I started. Now time for mud.

What a bargain, this camera has me very excited. I am amazed at how technology and price now allows just about anyone to express themselves creatively. In the short week I've had this camera I've taken amazing pictures and videos. I've made people laugh with the short test film i put together from some test footage.

I want to thank Gary for being such a good sport and allowing me to use the video I shot of his acting skill and to make up for it I'm posting some glam pics I took this evening. I also stopped by my mothers house and got some pictures of my niece and cici.

Heaven and hell, fire and Ice...

First we had ice, snow, then FIRE!!! Neighbors kids set our backyard on fire today, I'm still hacking, smoke inhalation! What a mess, the fire spread very quickly and took out our fences. everyone is OK. What a weekend. Now back to the Super Bowl.

Desiree needed stickers for her fund raising jars. I though a label on a pickle jar should look like a pickle jar label. So here it is, Desiree the Pickle Queen! 

The monies raised help support the church operations, property renovations or improvements, ministries, and local community organizations.

Gary finally got a piano this weekend. This is the first time I've really gotten to hear how good he is, well sort of there was that time at the Intercontinental in Houston and it's Grand Piano in the lobby... But this is somehow better.

Desiree is hosting a church Bingo this weekend to benefit the "biggest Little Jamica in Texas!" I think they need a bingo poster.

My sister in law mentioned "the Biggest Little Jamica" is the name of her church festival. I think they could use a logo....

Or a couple of posters, both paying homage to the history of Martindale, one time cotton seed capitol of Texas and corn producer, and my mothers hometown.
